How to care for your epoxy products:
- Hand wash: Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth with warm water and mild dish detergent. Avoid the dishwasher.
- Pat dry: Pat dry immediately after washing to prevent water from absorbing into the wood.
- Air dry: Let the board air dry completely.
- Avoid submerging: Do not submerge the board in water.
- Avoid cutting: If possible don’t cut excessively on the resin artwork area to prevent dents or scratches.
- Treat with oil: Apply a thin coat of oil, such as coconut, mineral, linseed, beeswax, or tung oil, to treat the board. You can use a cloth soaked in mineral oil and wipe along the grain or in circles. Wait a few minutes, hours, or overnight for the board to absorb the oil.
- Avoid heat and sunlight: Keep the board away from excessive heat and sunlight to prevent it from splitting or cracking.
